- Accumulator
- A type of bet that links multiple selections, with winnings from each selection rolling over to the next, and all must win to pay out.
- Arbitrage
- The practice of placing bets on all possible outcomes of an event across different bookmakers to guarantee a profit regardless of the result.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap system that removes the draw option and gives a virtual advantage or disadvantage to each team to balance the match.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside specifically for placing bets.
- Bet Builder
- A tool that lets you combine multiple betting selections within the same match into a single wager.
- Bookmaker
- A company or individual that sets odds and accepts bets from the public.
- Both Teams to Score
- A market where you bet on whether each side will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- An option to settle your bet before the event ends, letting you lock in a profit or cut your losses.
- Correct Score
- A bet on the exact final score of a match, such as 2-1 or 3-0.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes of a match (home win or draw, away win or draw, etc.).
- Draw No Bet
- A wager that returns your stake if the match ends in a draw, otherwise you win if your chosen team wins.
- European Handicap
- A handicap that includes the draw as a possible outcome, applied to the final score.
- Free Bet
- A promotional credit given by a sportsbook that can be used to place a bet without using your own money.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- A bet that requires you to predict both the result at half-time and the result at full-time.
- In-play Betting
- Placing bets on a match after it has already started, with odds that update as the game progresses.
- Juice
- The commission or fee that a bookmaker charges on losing bets, often built into the odds.
- Lay
- To bet against a particular outcome occurring, typically done on a betting exchange.
- Market
- A specific category of betting options for an event, such as the winner, total goals, or player props.
- Moneyline
- A straightforward bet on which team will win the match, with no point spread involved.
- Odds
- The ratio that determines how much you can win relative to your stake, reflecting the likelihood of an outcome.
- Over/Under
- A bet predicting whether the total number of goals in a match will be higher or lower than a set line.
- Parlay
- A single bet that combines two or more selections; all must be correct for a payout.
- Spread

- Stake
